Gate Information

instructions for access

Dear Reserve Resident,

Each household will be given 3 RFID transponders that will allow them to enter/exit all three entrances without the need to push a button.  Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects.  With the transponder hanging/affixed to your windshield, slowly approach the entrance and the gate will open automatically.  If you require additional transponders for cars registered to your home, please email thereservegates@gmail.com with the request.  They are available for an additional $50 and allowed 5 total per household.

In addition to the transponders, each household has been randomly assigned a 5 digit passcode you can give to trusted guests. This code will be changed as needed to prevent widespread sharing like we have had in the past.  For those coming to your house that are not frequent visitors the Reserve Board asks they go through the Redfield entrance and be called in versus giving them your code.  The system logs each time a code or transponder is used.  Please be cautious who you give your unique code to.  If it is found your code was used in illegal activity or vandalism your household could be held liable for the damages.  Please see below for the locations of the keypads

Each entry location will have network cameras that activate by motion.  They will keep an eye on our investment in the event any of the gate hardware is damaged.
